Client Testimonials
Many organizations discover that simply tracking who takes what dramatically changes consumption behavior. By placing expensive PPE and safety equipment behind controlled access, facilities often uncover opportunities to reduce waste, improve accountability, and gain greater control of inventory spending.
Controlled Access: Locked compartments open to designated employees with specific credentials so you can keep track of high-value safety gear and PPE.
Visual Inventory: Provides a direct view of your inventory without compromising the security of your gear.
Greater Control: Manage high-value equipment through a centralized system, and know which employees have checked out specific items.
Accurate Reordering: Run purchasing based on real data from your machine, so you can replace and reorder equipment.
The IDS ClearVision Industrial PPE & Safety Smart Locker puts fast, secure access to PPE and safety supplies right where your team works, in any space. Talk to an ExpertOur iQ technology transforms the IDS ClearVision Industrial PPE & Safety Smart Locker into an intelligent machine that helps you make better business decisions.
A stand-alone unit configures up to 18 compartments, and a satellite unit up to 20. The standard mix pairs fourteen to sixteen openings at 5-1/4"H x 11-3/8"W with four taller 10-3/4"H x 11-3/8"W openings, all 21-7/8" deep. Because the compartments adjust, capacity depends on what you store. Your IDS rep will build the layout around your equipment. needs
This clear locker can hold a variety of PPE and safety supplies; however, the adjustable shelving and compartments mean that this storage locker solution can also be ideal for larger, bulkier equipment that may not fit in a standard IDS vending machine.
A vending machine dispenses consumables one item at a time through a coil or tray. A locker opens a compartment, which makes it the right fit for items that are bulky, expensive, or more limited in availability. Many facilities run both: a machine for smaller safety gear, and stand-up lockers alongside it for these larger items.
Clear view lockers let a supervisor see stock levels without opening anything or running a report, and they let an employee confirm the item they need is there before they badge in. Windowed doors are also available as an option when you'd prefer keep contents hidden.
Pricing depends on configuration, the number of units, and what you plan to store, so IDS scopes a solution to your facility rather than listing a smart locker for sale at a flat price. Many customers find the equipment a worthwhile investment, and usage data from the cabinet can easily provide budget justification.
It moves equipment off an open shelf and behind a controlled point of access, where every item is tied to a name, a time, and a cost. Usage limits curb overconsumption, per-employee reporting makes outliers easy to spot, and accountability tends to change how equipment gets used.
Most installations are quick and cause minimal disruption to your operations. After an initial consultation to scope your equipment and cabinet placement, IDS handles delivery, setup, stocking, and employee training. Timelines vary depending on your specific solution, but your rep will provide a clear schedule to keep you informed.
Yes. iQ Technology is cloud-based and interfaces with existing purchasing platforms and badge infrastructure, and IDS performs software customization to fit specific requirements. Bring your system to the conversation.
An employee identifies themselves at the 10.1" touch screen, makes a selection, and the assigned compartment unlocks. Authentication works with the credentials the employee already has, including RFID badge, proximity card, magnetic stripe, barcode, personal PIN, or biometrics. Every transaction is tied to an individual and timestamped for easy tracking.
Yes. Durable equipment can be checked out and returned through the same cabinet, so a tool or instrument is issued, used, and put back into circulation instead of being consumed and reordered. iQ Technology tracks what's out, who has it, and how long it's been gone.
Yes. Every transaction is logged with the item, the employee, and the timestamp, giving you an auditable record of who received which protective equipment and when. iQ Technology's reporting covers usage summaries, transaction history, item turnover, restock activity, and discrepancies, and can send email alerts to designated personnel based on criteria you set.
